Bayou DeSiard Golf Course Details

Bayou DeSiard Country Club is an 18 hole Championship course with four sets of tees in addition to a junior set of tees. The club has three practice par 3's known as the "Triangle". The golf course has water on 10 holes, tree-lined fairways and numerous sand bunkers. The course was renovated in 1988-1989 by Ron Pritchard and recently updated again in 2009 by Mr. Ron Pritchard. The course has been repeatedly ranked as one of the top courses in Louisiana.

Our most recent renovation included tilling and floating fairways, improved drainage, expanding irrigation, completely rebuilding all bunkers with addition of fairway bunkers (holes 3, 8, 10, & 16), completely rebuilding all tees to squares and leveled, tilled and floated all greens. We also did a complete reconstruction on our Putting Green; the surface went from 3500 square feet to 7500 square feet.

Our greens are USGA built with Mini-Verde Bermudagrass. 419 Bermudagrass was planted on all fairways, surrounding rough, tees, tee slopes, approaches, and green slopes. The rough is a mixture of 419 Bermudagrass and Common Bermudagrass. The course has hosted all Louisiana Golf Association state events and is home to the W.E. Cole Cotton State Tournaments, which is a Golf Week Point Event.

Our members take pride in our golf course and we have an outstanding maintanence team that is committed to maintain year round tournament conditions.
